Gas pasta cooker intended for direct thermal processing of food, consisting in cooking process carried out using liquid or natural gas, or electricity.
A gas pasta cooker heats a deep vat of water with a direct flame beneath the tank. The flame transfers heat through the metal base, raising the water temperature quickly and evenly. This method gives immediate control over the boil, letting the operator adjust the intensity to keep pasta moving without sticking or overcooking. Because the heat source is separate from the vat, the water can be drained and refilled without waiting for an element to cool, speeding up service during peak times.
The sequence begins by filling the vat through the solenoid valve or the manual dosing tap. Once the water reaches the desired level, the gas is lit by the 230 V spark generator and the flame is set with the ergonomic knob. Pasta is lowered in GN 1/3 baskets or the optional GN set 2×1/6, and the boil is watched until the pasta is ready. An overflow hole prevents spills, while the drain outlet empties the vat without lifting. When the cooker is switched off, the appliance protection system cuts the gas supply if the water level drops too low, preventing damage to the tank.
The construction is a stainless-steel vat mounted on a tubular frame with adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors. The front panel is laser-engraved for durability, and the knobs are sized for gloved hands. A solenoid valve automates filling, while the manual dosing tap allows precise control over smaller quantities.
The 25 litre volume determines the maximum batch size, letting the kitchen plan for large servings without splitting orders. The 400 mm depth, 700 mm width and 850 mm height set the footprint on the worktop or floor, while the 9.1 kW power rating indicates the gas load on the kitchen's supply line. Compatibility with GN 1/3 and GN 2×1/6 baskets means the cooker fits standard kitchen trolleys and storage systems.
Cleaning involves draining the vat through the outlet, wiping the interior with a non-abrasive cloth, and rinsing the overflow hole to clear any debris. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to keep the unit stable.
The cooker is also available in gas versions G27 and G31, offering different power ratings for varying kitchen demands. Pasta baskets are sold separately.
