Barrier-type sanitary washing machine DUAL MED-22 ES ET2

DANUBE DUAL MED ET2 is a professional barrier-type sanitary washing machine with combined electric and steam heating, designed for intensive use in environments with particularly high hygiene requirements. The DUAL heating system combines two water heating methods – electric heating and an external steam supply. This provides greater flexibility in operation and allows either electric or steam heating to be used depending on the available energy source.

The barrier design physically separates the soiled-linen loading area from the clean-linen unloading area. Soiled linen is loaded into the machine from one side of the room, while after the complete washing cycle, clean linen is unloaded from the opposite side. This workflow helps prevent contact between clean and soiled linen and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. The machine is particularly suitable for hospitals, medical and care facilities, nursing homes and professional laundries.

The machine is equipped with a soft-mount suspension system, which reduces vibration during extraction and simplifies installation. The high-efficiency extraction system reaches a G-factor of 350, helping to reduce residual moisture in textiles and shorten the subsequent drying time. Automatic drum positioning facilitates loading and unloading.

Operation is controlled by the EASY TOUCH 2 microprocessor with a user-friendly, fully programmable 7-inch touchscreen. The control system allows washing programmes to be adapted to specific requirements and provides control over key washing parameters. The USB connection enables convenient programme and data management, while the multilingual interface facilitates operation in international working environments.

The machine is prepared for automatic dosing of liquid detergents. As standard, it features 8 control signals for dosing pumps, with the possibility of adding another 6 signals. This allows an external dosing system to be connected and the supply of different detergents to be automated according to the selected programme.

For efficient use of resources, the Water Saving function offers three configurable water-saving levels. Load control functions help adjust water and detergent consumption according to the actual laundry load, reducing unnecessary resource consumption.

DANUBE Online IoT connectivity enables remote monitoring of machine operation and washing processes. The system helps manage laundry operations, analyse operating statistics and telemetry data, and facilitates diagnostics, maintenance and software updates.

The machine's drum and outer tub are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and suitability for intensive professional use. The construction is designed for easy maintenance, with convenient access to the main electrical and mechanical components, while the arrangement of connections simplifies installation and servicing.
