A sunrise chair gives kitchen staff a stable, adjustable-height seat that keeps them at the right level for worktop tasks without standing for hours. The seat rises and lowers on a gas strut, letting each user set the height that matches the hob, prep surface or plating counter. This reduces fatigue during long shifts and helps maintain consistent posture while chopping, garnishing or assembling dishes.

The operator pulls the lever under the seat, lifts or lowers to the desired height, then releases the lever to lock the position. The chair remains stable while the user works, and the swivel base allows easy movement between adjacent stations without standing up. Footrests keep legs supported and reduce pressure on the lower back.

The frame is constructed from powder-coated steel for strength and corrosion resistance in humid kitchen environments. The seat and backrest are upholstered in wipe-clean vinyl that resists oils, sauces and cleaning chemicals. The five-star base with castors allows smooth rolling across tiled or sealed floors, and the castors can be locked when the chair is in use at a fixed station.

The overall footprint of 670 mm by 600 mm fits neatly under most catering worktops, and the height adjusts from 440 mm to 810 mm to suit different counter heights. The chair weighs 5030 gr, making it easy for one person to move between stations or store out of the way when not in use.

Cleaning involves wiping the vinyl surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and checking the gas strut periodically for smooth operation. The powder-coated frame can be wiped down with a disinfectant solution to maintain hygiene standards.
