Banquet chairs must balance comfort, stability and space-saving storage. The BHS MUSIC TANGO chair uses a rigid steel frame to support guests through long events while allowing the chairs to stack vertically when not in use. The frame's square profile distributes weight evenly, preventing wobble and reducing stress on the joints. A powder-coated finish shields the metal from scratches and wear, so the chair retains its appearance even after repeated handling.

The chair is operated by seating one guest at a time. The operator lowers the chair onto the floor, ensuring the protective glides make contact. When the event ends, the chairs are lifted and stacked one on top of the other, up to eighteen high, freeing floor space for cleaning or reconfiguration.

Construction centres on a 25 × 25 mm steel tube with a 1.2 mm wall thickness. The frame is welded into a single unit that includes the legs, backrest and armrest supports. A 5.5 cm thick foam seat pad is upholstered in dark grey fabric, chosen for its resistance to staining and ease of wiping down. The legs are fitted with glides that prevent floor damage and keep the chair steady on uneven surfaces.

The chair's dimensions—440 mm deep, 540 mm wide and 890 mm high—allow it to fit under standard banquet tables while providing enough back support for adult guests. A weight of 5.4 kg makes each chair light enough for one person to carry yet heavy enough to resist tipping. The stackable design, limited to eighteen chairs, prevents toppling while keeping the stack manageable for storage in cupboards or on trolleys.

Cleaning involves wiping the upholstery with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and brushing the steel frame to remove dust. The powder coating resists moisture, so the frame can be wiped without risk of rust. Glides should be checked periodically and replaced if worn to maintain floor protection.
