A bar station organises drink preparation by combining worktop space, washing facilities and storage for bottles and glassware. The unit holds basins under the tap so that ice, garnishes and glassware can be rinsed without leaving the station, while racks above or below keep bottles within reach. This layout keeps the workflow local: the operator fills, mixes and serves from one position, reducing movement across the bar.
The sequence starts with loading the bottle racks. Bottles are placed neck-down in the racks so that labels face forward and liquids settle at the neck, ready for pouring. Glassware is stored on the worktop or in under-counter cupboards if fitted. When a drink is ordered, the operator takes a glass from the worktop, rinses it under the tap if needed, adds ice from the basin, pours the measured spirit from the bottle rack, and completes the drink with mixers or garnishes kept on the worktop. Used glasses are rinsed in the basin and set aside for collection.
Construction is a stainless-steel frame with a solid worktop, basins inset into the top, and bottle racks mounted above or below the counter. The 1100 mm width provides space for two basins side by side, leaving room for drink preparation on either side. The 650 mm depth allows bottles to be stored in single rows without overhang, while the 900 mm height matches standard bar counters for a seamless fit with adjacent units.
Cleaning follows from the materials and layout. Stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth and sanitiser to remove spills and fingerprints. Basins are scrubbed to clear ice residue and fruit debris, then rinsed and left to dry. Bottle racks are wiped to remove dust and sticky residues from spills. The worktop is cleared of glassware and garnishes before cleaning to prevent breakage and contamination.
The unit is placed in the bar's service area, typically behind the counter where drinks are prepared and served. Its footprint fits within standard bar layouts, allowing it to be positioned between other stations or against a wall without obstructing customer access.
