Black Disposable Cup Lid 80 mm

A disposable lid that snaps onto standard 80 mm cup rims to seal hot or cold drinks during transport and service.

The lid is moulded as a single piece with a raised central dome and a flat sealing flange. When pressed onto the rim of a disposable cup, the flange flexes slightly and grips the rim edge, creating a friction seal that prevents spills and slows heat loss. No adhesive or additional clip is needed; the seal relies on the tight fit between the lid's inner diameter and the cup's outer rim.

To use, the operator fills the cup to the recommended level, aligns the lid's flange with the cup rim, and presses down evenly until the lid sits flush. The dome allows room for whipped cream, foam or expansion of hot liquids without forcing the lid off. Once fitted, the lid stays in place until the customer peels it back or removes it entirely.

The lid is made from food-safe plastic, chosen for its balance of rigidity and flexibility. The black colour is achieved with a food-grade pigment that does not transfer to the cup or the drink. A matching white version is also available under the same article.

The 80 mm diameter matches the rim size of standard single-serve disposable cups used in catering, coffee carts and take-away counters. The 90 mm overall width provides a generous sealing surface and a comfortable grip for customers removing the lid.

After use, the lid is discarded with the cup. No disassembly or cleaning is required; the single-use construction eliminates cross-contamination between customers and reduces labour in high-turnover service areas.
