A built-in waste cover creates a flush worktop surface that conceals refuse bins beneath the counter. When closed, the hinged lid lies level with the surrounding worktop, allowing staff to slide pots, trays and ingredients across without obstruction. The BHS E72 waste cover is designed to fit a standard 448 mm cut-out in stainless-steel worktops. Once installed, the cover becomes part of the counter, maintaining a seamless appearance and protecting the bin area from spills and debris. The lid opens and closes with a simple lift, requiring no tools or latches, so staff can dispose of waste quickly during service.

Construction is a single stainless-steel panel with a brushed finish that matches commercial worktops. The panel measures 448 mm across, 4 mm thick and 191 mm deep, forming a rigid cover that supports light loads without flexing. No additional frame or mounting kit is supplied; the cover rests directly on the worktop edges or on a sub-frame prepared during installation.

The 448 mm width corresponds to a common cut-out size in professional kitchens, allowing the E72 to replace existing covers or to be fitted into new counters without modification. The 191 mm depth provides clearance for most under-counter bins while keeping the cover compact enough to avoid protruding into walkways.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the stainless-steel surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The cover has no moving parts other than the hinge, so maintenance is confined to occasional hinge lubrication to ensure smooth opening and closing.
