Camillo 0179 Technorattan Stacking Chair

A café or restaurant terrace chair that stacks up to twelve high without losing its shape or stability. The Camillo 0179 uses a continuous technorattan weave beneath the seat to spread the load across the frame, preventing sag and wear even after long service. This woven synthetic rattan is weather-resistant and does not absorb moisture, so the chair keeps its appearance indoors and out.

The frame is extruded aluminium, chosen for its balance of lightness and strength. Aluminium does not rust, so the chair can be left outside through seasonal changes without corroding. At 3.96 kg, one person can lift and move the chair easily, yet the frame is rigid enough to support daily use without flexing.

Assembly is not required; the chair arrives ready to place on the floor. The operator simply lifts it by the backrest, carries it to the stacking point, and lowers it onto the previous chair. The technorattan weave acts as a cushion, so no additional padding is needed for short-term seating.

The chair is finished in black and white, a combination that blends with most colour schemes. Its dimensions—570 mm wide, 560 mm deep and 830 mm high—give it a compact footprint while still providing enough seat depth for comfortable dining.

Cleaning follows from the materials: a damp cloth removes dust and spills from the technorattan, while the aluminium frame can be wiped with a mild detergent. Because the weave is non-porous, liquids do not penetrate, so stains do not set.
