The chair bubble allows the operator to raise or lower the seat while remaining seated, so workflow is not interrupted when switching between tasks that require different working heights.

The mechanism relies on a gas strut that is compressed or released by a lever under the seat. When the lever is pressed, the strut extends or retracts, lifting or lowering the seat smoothly without manual effort. The base remains fixed on the floor, providing stability while the seat moves through its range.

To use the chair, the operator sits, presses the lever, and shifts body weight to raise or lower the seat to the desired height. Once the lever is released, the gas strut locks the seat in position. The chair is then ready for prolonged periods of food preparation, plating or counter service without the need to stand or move to another station.

The frame is constructed from lightweight materials to allow easy repositioning around the kitchen. The footprint of 540 by 500 mm fits between standard worktop runs and under most counter overhangs. The height adjusts from 440 mm to 850 mm, covering seated tasks from low prep benches to high pass counters.

The weight of 3090 grams means the chair can be moved by one person without strain, yet it remains stable during use. The compact dimensions and adjustable height make it suitable for kitchens where space is limited and multiple tasks are performed at the same station.

Cleaning involves wiping the seat and frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The gas strut and lever mechanism require no maintenance beyond occasional inspection to ensure smooth operation.
