The seat and backrest provide spinal support during extended use. A subtle lumbar curve reduces strain, while the seat pan's slight forward tilt promotes an upright posture. The five-star base includes glides that slide effortlessly on hard floors but grip securely when weight is applied, preventing unintended movement.

To adjust the chair, the user sits and keeps both feet on the floor. A lever beneath the seat releases the gas cylinder, allowing the chair to rise or fall until the lever is released. No manual pumping or cranking is required, enabling quick height changes without leaving the workstation.

The frame consists of powder-coated steel tubing, offering durability and resistance to corrosion in humid kitchen conditions. The seat and backrest are made from injection-moulded polypropylene, which withstands frequent cleaning with hot water and sanitising agents without damage. The gas cylinder is built for continuous commercial use.

A single lever under the front edge of the seat controls the height adjustment. Pressing the lever unlocks it, and releasing the lever secures the chair at the desired height.
