A chair designed for the demands of professional catering workstations, the BHS Chair Diva provides stable, adjustable seating that keeps kitchen staff supported during long service periods. Unlike standard office chairs, it is built to withstand the movement and weight shifts common in a busy kitchen environment, where staff frequently stand, sit and reach across worktops.

The Chair Diva operates on a simple gas-lift mechanism that allows the seat to be raised or lowered with minimal effort. A lever beneath the seat activates the lift, and the gas cylinder inside the central column adjusts the height smoothly while bearing the user's weight. This mechanism ensures the chair remains stable at any setting, preventing sudden drops or tilts that could disrupt workflow or cause injury. The base is broad and fitted with castors, allowing the chair to be moved easily across hard kitchen floors without scratching or marking.

To use the chair, the operator pulls the lever, raises or lowers the seat to the desired height, then releases the lever to lock the position. The seat can be adjusted while seated, so staff can fine-tune the height without leaving their station. The backrest is fixed, providing consistent lumbar support without the need for additional adjustment.

Constructed from lightweight yet durable materials, the Chair Diva features a seat and backrest made from moulded plastic, which resists moisture and is easy to clean. The gas cylinder and base are housed in a steel frame, giving the chair its stability and weight-bearing capacity. The castors are fitted with brakes to prevent unwanted movement when the chair is in use.

The height adjustment range of 440 to 850 mm allows the chair to be set at a level that suits different worktop heights, from prep tables to hobs. At 3020 gr, the chair is light enough to be moved by one person but heavy enough to remain stable during use.

Cleaning is straightforward: the plastic seat and backrest can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser, while the steel frame and castors require only occasional dusting. The gas cylinder is sealed and requires no maintenance.
