A chair built for the standing tasks of a professional kitchen, where staff move between worktops, hobs and sinks without leaving their station. The Chair Elite provides a stable seat that rises and lowers on a gas strut, letting the operator choose the height that matches the bench or table. No tools are needed; the adjustment is made by a lever under the seat, and the chair locks at the chosen position until the lever is pressed again.

The principle is simple: a gas cylinder inside the column compresses under load, then expands when the lever releases the valve, raising or lowering the seat smoothly. The mechanism is sealed, so it stays clean and needs no lubrication. Because the gas is under pressure, the chair supports the weight of the operator without sagging, and the base remains firmly on the floor even when the seat is at its highest setting.

To use it, the operator pulls the lever, lifts or lowers the seat to the desired height, then releases the lever to lock it. The chair swivels on its base, so the user can turn to reach different areas of the worktop without standing. The seat itself is contoured to support long periods of sitting, and the backrest follows the natural curve of the spine.

Construction is a steel frame finished in a durable powder coat. The seat and backrest are moulded polypropylene, chosen for its resistance to moisture, grease and cleaning chemicals. The base is a five-star design with castors, allowing the chair to be moved easily between stations.

The height adjustment range of 460 to 820 mm covers standard worktop heights in professional kitchens, from prep surfaces to pastry benches. The footprint of 480 by 530 mm fits under most counters, so the chair can be stored out of the way when not in use.

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the seat, backrest and frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The castors can be removed for deeper cleaning if needed, and the gas strut requires no maintenance beyond keeping the lever mechanism free of debris.
