Chair Elite High Adjustable Worktop Chair

This adjustable-height chair is designed for use at catering work surfaces, enabling staff to work seated without altering their posture. The height adjusts via a gas-lift column inside the central post, allowing smooth movement when a lever is pressed. The mechanism removes the need for manual or electric adjustment, providing instant changes while seated.

To adjust, the user sits and presses the lever beneath the seat. The gas column responds to body weight, allowing the chair to move up or down until the desired height is reached. Releasing the lever locks the column in place. The same lever lowers the chair when standing.

The frame is made from powder-coated steel tubing for strength and corrosion resistance. The seat and backrest are moulded polypropylene, which resists stains, does not absorb moisture, and can be cleaned with sanitiser. The base features five castors, enabling easy movement across hard floors.

The height adjusts from 670 to 990 mm, covering typical catering worktop heights. The 500 x 450 mm footprint fits beneath most surfaces, providing legroom.

Cleaning involves wiping the polypropylene surfaces with a damp cloth and approved sanitiser. Castors should be checked regularly for debris that may hinder movement.
