Chair Jade for professional catering workstations

This chair adapts to various heights found in catering workstations, prep tables, and mobile trolleys. Its height adjusts smoothly from 440 mm to 840 mm, enabling staff to work comfortably whether seated or standing at the same counter without changing seats.

A gas-lift column inside the central post allows seamless adjustment. Pressing the lever compresses nitrogen gas, raising or lowering the seat continuously. This design eliminates steps or notches, so the height can be precisely matched to any work surface, be it a fixed stainless-steel table or a mobile trolley adjusted for service.

To adjust, the user pulls the lever, moves the seat to the desired height, and releases the lever to secure it. The chair remains stable at any height within its range, removing the need to search for specific settings. Once seated, the chair swivels fully, providing easy access to all areas of the workstation without standing.

The frame is made from powder-coated steel tubing, offering a strong yet lightweight structure. The seat and backrest are moulded polypropylene, a material resistant to stains and easy to clean with a damp cloth. The sealed gas-lift column requires no maintenance, lubrication, or adjustments.

The control is a single lever beneath the right side of the seat. Pressing it releases the gas-lift for height adjustment, while releasing it locks the column in place.

With a 550 mm footprint, the chair fits neatly under standard catering worktops. Its weight allows effortless movement between stations or storage on a wall-mounted hook when not in use.

Cleaning involves wiping the polypropylene seat and backrest with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The powder-coated steel frame can be cleaned similarly, avoiding abrasive pads to protect the finish.
