Chair Libby for Professional Catering Workstations

This seating solution is tailored for catering staff who spend long hours at workstations. The Chair Libby enables users to switch between sitting and standing positions effortlessly, helping to reduce fatigue during food preparation, plating, and cleaning activities.

Height adjustment is managed through a gas-lift column, which reacts to the user's weight. By pressing a lever, the seat can be lowered or raised to the preferred height, then locked in place. This system ensures hands remain free for tasks and allows swift adjustments between shifts or for different users.

To use, position the chair under the worktop, sit on the padded seat, and adjust the height so forearms rest comfortably on the work surface. When not needed, the chair can be stored beneath the counter to save space.

The frame is constructed from powder-coated steel, paired with a moulded polypropylene seat shell. The seat pad is covered in wipe-clean vinyl, and the base includes five castors for easy movement across hard floors.

A single lever beneath the seat controls the gas column for height adjustment.

With a footprint of 450 mm by 530 mm, the chair fits under standard catering worktops. The height adjusts from 440 mm to 800 mm, suitable for various work surface heights in commercial settings. It can also be stored in cupboards or against walls when not in use.

Maintenance involves wiping the vinyl seat pad and polypropylene shell with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and clearing debris from the castors to ensure smooth movement.
