Chair Lilly for Professional Catering Workstations

Designed for the demands of professional catering, the BHS Chair Lilly provides adjustable seating at workstations, plating counters, and preparation islands. Its height can be modified to suit different tasks, reducing the need for staff to stand continuously during long shifts.

A gas-lift column in the central post allows smooth height adjustment with a simple lever press. The mechanism requires no tools and can be operated without interrupting workflow. The sealed column prevents debris accumulation, ensuring hygiene in busy kitchen environments. Operators can fine-tune the height to match specific work surfaces, helping to minimise strain during repetitive tasks.

To adjust the chair, the user pulls the lever beneath the seat, raises or lowers it to the desired height, then releases the lever to lock it in place. The seat remains stable while in use, and the lever can be pressed again at any time for further adjustments. Four castors enable easy movement between stations, yet they remain secure once the chair is positioned.

The chair features a welded steel frame with a durable powder-coated finish. The seat and backrest are made from moulded polypropylene, which resists moisture, grease, and cleaning chemicals while preventing odour absorption. The gas-lift column is engineered to support frequent adjustments and the weight of an adult user.

The only control is the height-adjustment lever located under the seat. Pressing it releases the gas column, and releasing it locks the chair at the new height.

With a 470 mm footprint, the chair fits neatly under most catering worktops, avoiding obstruction in walkways when not in use. Its manageable weight allows easy relocation or storage on a wall hook if floor space is limited.

Cleaning is simple: wipe the polypropylene surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and clear any debris from the castors. The powder-coated frame can be sanitised with standard kitchen sprays without risk of damage.
