Chair NORM 015 in Black Beechwood

A chair built for the rhythm of professional catering, where staff and guests sit down and stand up dozens of times a shift. The seat and backrest are shaped to support without restricting movement, while the legs splay slightly to keep the chair steady on uneven floors. Every joint is bonded with an enlarged surface area, so the frame does not loosen under repeated loading and unloading.

Beechwood is chosen for its tight grain and natural resilience. The surface is sanded by hand and machine to remove any roughness, leaving a finish that resists splinters and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The black colour is applied evenly, so scuffs and marks are less visible during service.

The chair is light enough for one person to lift and move between tables, yet the 120 kg load rating allows it to carry the full range of adult users. Its footprint fits within a standard worktop depth, so it can be tucked under a counter when not in use or stacked to clear floor space quickly.

Cleaning follows from the materials: a soft cloth removes dust and spills, while a mild detergent tackles grease without damaging the finish. The smooth surface prevents dirt from lodging in crevices, so upkeep stays simple between shifts.
