Chair PARIS100 TOLIX in Black Steel

A stacking chair built for frequent handling in professional dining spaces, the PARIS100 TOLIX model combines light weight with the strength of steel. The frame is shaped from continuous steel sections that distribute load evenly across the seat and legs, allowing a single chair to support substantial weight without bending or fatigue. This method of construction keeps the chair stable under use while making it easy to lift and reposition between services or for storage.

To use the chair, place it on a level floor; the plastic glides on each leg prevent scratches and reduce noise. When seating is no longer needed, lift the chair by its seat edge and align it with the next chair in the stack. The reinforcing beams on the underside have protective bumpers that touch only the corresponding points on the chair below, so the finish remains unmarked even after repeated stacking. Up to fifteen chairs can be stacked vertically, taking minimal floor space when not in use.

The entire structure is made of steel, bent and welded into a single rigid frame. A black matte powder coating is baked onto the surface, creating a tough, even layer that resists chips, stains and daily cleaning chemicals. This finish also gives the chair a uniform appearance that blends with most commercial interiors.

Controls are not applicable; the chair is ready to use once placed on the floor.

The weight of 2.8 kg means a single person can carry several chairs at once, reducing the time spent setting up or clearing a room. The footprint of 390 mm by 390 mm allows the chair to fit under standard tables and in tight storage areas. The maximum load rating of 120 kg ensures it can accommodate a wide range of users without risk of deformation. The stackable design up to fifteen chairs high allows large quantities to be stored in a compact vertical column, freeing up valuable floor space in busy kitchens and dining areas.

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the powder-coated steel with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove spills or marks. The smooth surface prevents dirt from adhering, so regular wiping maintains the chair's appearance without the need for specialised products. The plastic glides can be replaced if they become worn, and the protective bumpers on the reinforcing beams can be checked periodically to ensure they remain intact for safe stacking.
