The chair stays in place once set, giving a firm platform for tasks that require both hands—rolling pastry, portioning, or plating.

To use the chair, the operator pulls the lever, adjusts the height while seated, then releases the lever to lock the column. The seat is always level, so there is no need to rebalance. Four feet with non-slip pads keep the chair steady on tiled or polished floors, even when the operator reaches across a worktop.

Construction is a powder-coated steel frame with a polypropylene seat and backrest. The materials are chosen for resistance to hot water, detergents and oils; the seat surface is textured to prevent slipping when wet. No upholstery is used, so there are no seams or fabric to trap food debris or harbour bacteria.

The single control is a lever mounted under the seat on the right-hand side. Pulling the lever releases the gas strut; releasing it locks the height. There are no other settings or adjustments.

The size range of 440 mm width, 510 mm depth and 470–790 mm height means the chair fits under standard catering worktops and can be stored in a cupboard when not in use. The footprint is compact enough to leave clear walkways in a busy kitchen, while the adjustable height covers the full range from low prep benches to high pastry tables.

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the seat, backrest and frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The polypropylene surfaces dry quickly and do not absorb moisture. The gas strut is sealed and requires no maintenance; the feet can be removed for thorough cleaning of the floor beneath.
