The chair's gas-lift mechanism raises or lowers the seat smoothly while the operator remains seated, so adjustments can be made without interrupting workflow. A weighted base keeps the chair stable on tiled or polished floors typical of commercial kitchens, and the five-star configuration prevents tipping when the user leans forward or reaches across a work surface.

To use the chair, the operator sits and presses the lever beneath the seat; the gas cylinder responds to body weight, allowing the seat to rise or fall until the desired height is reached. The frame is constructed from powder-coated steel for resistance to moisture and cleaning chemicals.
