A serving bowl holds hot or cold dishes at the pass, on the buffet line or at the counter without transferring heat to the worktop. The stainless steel construction reflects little heat, so the contents stay at serving temperature longer than in crockery or glass. The broad, flat base prevents tipping when the bowl is nudged or when a serving utensil is lifted from it.

The bowl is filled directly from the stove or chiller, carried to the service point and set down. A ladle or spoon rests across the rim, ready for portioning. When the service period ends, the bowl is removed, emptied and washed.

The bowl is made of stainless steel with a cobalt blue exterior coating. The rim is rolled for strength and safety, and the base is flat and uncoated to sit securely on any worktop or counter.
