CORDA Technorattan Chair with Cushion

A chair built for outdoor service, the CORDA model wraps a continuous technorattan weave around a light metal frame. The weave is not woven fabric but an extruded synthetic rattan that resists rain, sun and temperature swings without fading or cracking. Its open, breathable structure sheds water quickly and dries in minutes, so the seat stays comfortable even after a shower.

The chair arrives fully assembled and includes a seat cushion that clips to the frame. To use it, the operator simply lifts the chair from the stack, places it where needed, and seats the guest. When the event ends, the chairs stack vertically up to twelve high, taking no more space than a single unit and sliding easily into a cupboard or onto a trolley.

The frame is powder-coated steel, shaped into gentle curves that give the chair its rounded silhouette. Technorattan is wrapped over the frame in a single continuous run, eliminating seams and sharp edges. The cushion is covered in a quick-dry polyester that wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Controls are not needed; the chair is ready to use as delivered. Its 4 kg weight allows one person to carry it with one hand, while the 570 mm width and 640 mm depth give enough space for most adults without crowding a terrace. The 800 mm height places the seat at standard dining-table level, matching the height of most outdoor tables and bar counters.

Cleaning follows from the materials: a soft brush removes dust and leaves, a damp cloth wipes away spills, and the technorattan can be rinsed with a hose if needed. No polish or protective spray is required, and the chair can be left outside year-round in most British climates.

The CORDA chair is supplied in black only. It is stackable up to twelve chairs, and the same design is used for the entire CORDA range of outdoor seating.
