This electronic scale converts the pressure of an item placed on its platform into an electrical signal. A load cell under the platform bends slightly under the weight, altering its electrical resistance. The scale's internal circuitry processes this change and presents the weight on the display, enabling accurate portioning of ingredients in a kitchen setting.

To use, the operator sets a container on the scale and presses the tare button to reset the display to zero, excluding the container's weight. Ingredients are added until the desired measurement appears on the LCD screen. The 2/5 g readability allows for precise measurement of small quantities, while the 15 kg maximum capacity suits larger batches of ingredients.
