FLOW Folding Chair with Ergonomic Mesh Backrest

The FLOW chair collapses flat when not in use, allowing multiple units to be stored in a fraction of the floor area required by fixed seating. When opened, its steel frame locks into a rigid structure that supports users through long meetings, training sessions or conferences without fatigue.

The backrest is formed from a breathable mesh that allows air to circulate, reducing heat build-up during extended sitting. Behind the mesh, high-density foam contours to the spine, distributing weight evenly and preventing pressure points. This combination of materials keeps the sitter cool and supported, while the powder-coated steel frame resists daily wear, impacts and corrosion, preserving both function and appearance over years of intensive use.

Operation is straightforward: lift the seat to unfold the chair, and it clicks into place. When the event ends, press the release levers on the sides and the chair folds flat in one motion. The compact folded profile—650 mm high, 455 mm wide and 850 mm deep—lets staff stack and wheel multiple chairs out of the way quickly, freeing the room for the next activity.

The frame is constructed from steel tubing, powder-coated for durability and finished in black. The seat and backrest use high-density foam covered with a tough, wipe-clean fabric that withstands frequent cleaning and contact with clothing, bags and equipment. At 8.8 kg, the chair is light enough for one person to carry short distances, yet stable enough to remain grounded during normal use.

Two optional accessories extend functionality. A desktop can be attached to the chair, converting it into a mobile workstation for seminars or training. Alternatively, wheels can be fitted to create a mobile version, allowing the chair to be rolled between rooms without lifting.

The chair's footprint of 650 by 455 mm gives each sitter ample personal space without crowding the room. The 850 mm height ensures most adults can sit with feet flat on the floor and knees at a comfortable angle. The 8.8 kg weight means the chair can be moved by one person, but is heavy enough to stay in place when in use.

Cleaning is simple: wipe the fabric and mesh with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and dust the steel frame with a dry cloth. The powder coating prevents rust and makes the frame resistant to stains and scratches, so the chair retains its professional appearance even after repeated folding and stacking.

The FLOW chair is available in a single colour—black—and can be configured with either the standard fixed legs or the optional mobile base with wheels. The desktop accessory is sold separately, allowing users to add it only where needed.
