FUTURA 080 Oak Stacking Chair for Hospitality

A stacking chair built for daily service in cafés, restaurants and hotels, the FUTURA 080 combines the warmth of solid oak with a construction that lets staff clear floor space quickly. When tables are reset or rooms reconfigured, the chairs stack vertically on top of each other, one unit supporting the next without tipping or jamming. The stack rises to six chairs high, so a full set can be moved in a single trip or stored in a compact footprint against a wall or in a cupboard.

The chair's load-bearing frame relies on the natural strength of oak, a dense hardwood that resists splitting and wear. Each joint is cut and fitted to distribute weight evenly, so the legs, seat and backrest work together to carry up to 120 kg without flexing or creaking. The surface is sanded smooth and finished to reveal the grain, giving a surface that is pleasant to touch and easy to wipe clean after service.

Using the chair is straightforward: place it on a level floor, pull it out for seating, then lift it by the backrest when it is time to stack. The 470 mm seat width leaves room for most diners, while the 780 mm overall height keeps the backrest at a comfortable level for seated guests. At 5.8 kg each, the chair is light enough for staff to carry several at once, yet heavy enough to stay planted on the floor without sliding.

Construction is solid oak throughout, with no laminates or veneers. The finish is a clear protective coating that preserves the wood's natural colour and allows it to age gracefully under regular use. No moving parts or upholstery are present, so maintenance is limited to wiping the surface with a damp cloth and occasionally checking that the joints remain tight.
