The principle is simple: a rigid top panel rests on a frame that can be folded in half. Hinges at the centre of the frame allow the two halves to swing together, bringing the legs alongside the top. Once folded, the unit stands on its own edge, taking up only the depth of the top and the thickness of the legs. No tools or disassembly are required; the operator lifts the table by its edges and swings the legs shut.

To deploy the table, the operator pulls the two halves of the frame apart until the legs lock into position. The top is then level and stable, ready to hold trays, ingredients or small appliances. The sequence takes seconds and can be repeated as often as the kitchen's workflow demands.

The top is made of polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass and polyamide, a combination that resists impacts, stains and the heat of hot pans without warping. The legs are aluminium, lacquered in the same antracite shade as the top, and shaped to provide strength without adding unnecessary weight. The entire unit is light enough to be carried by one person, yet rigid enough to support the loads typical of a busy service period.

The footprint of 700 by 700 millimetres gives a square metre of usable surface, while the height of 740 millimetres matches standard worktop levels in professional kitchens. When folded, the table measures 700 millimetres wide, 740 millimetres tall and only a few centimetres deep, allowing it to be stored in narrow spaces or hung on a wall bracket.

Cleaning is straightforward: the polypropylene top can be wiped with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, while the lacquered aluminium legs resist moisture and do not require polishing. The absence of crevices or joints in the top surface prevents food debris from becoming trapped, and the smooth finish discourages bacterial growth.
