GOMERA GRAND121 Stackable Polypropylene Chair

A chair designed for high-turnover seating in cafés, outdoor terraces and public spaces where quick rearrangement and compact storage are essential. The GOMERA GRAND121 does not rely on upholstery or fabric; instead, the entire seat and backrest are formed from a single shell of polypropylene. This material is moulded into a smooth, continuous surface that sheds spills and resists staining without absorbing moisture or harbouring dirt.

Polypropylene is inherently resistant to ultraviolet light, so the chair retains its colour and structural integrity when exposed to sunlight over long periods. The same resistance extends to rain, humidity and temperature fluctuations, allowing the chair to be used outdoors year-round without warping or cracking. Because the material is non-porous, cleaning is reduced to wiping the surface with a damp cloth or standard detergent, eliminating the need for specialised treatments or protective coatings.

The chair arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate use. To stack, the operator lifts one chair by its seat edge and places it directly onto the seat of another; the curved underside of the upper chair locks onto the lower one, creating a stable column. Up to twelve chairs can be stacked in this way, reducing the footprint to approximately one-twelfth of the space required for individual chairs. When storage space is limited, the stack can be wheeled on a trolley or carried by two people, thanks to the lightweight construction of 4 kg per chair.

The overall dimensions of 570 mm depth, 560 mm width and 820 mm height provide a generous seating area while keeping the chair compact enough to fit under standard café tables. The 4 kg weight ensures that staff can move individual chairs effortlessly during service or when rearranging layouts for events. The black colour is pigmented throughout the material, so scratches or scuffs remain less visible than on painted surfaces.

Cleaning is limited to the polypropylene shell; there are no crevices, seams or fabric to trap debris. A quick wipe with a sanitising solution is sufficient for daily upkeep, and the chair can be left outdoors overnight without risk of water damage or mould growth.

The GOMERA GRAND121 is supplied as a single model in black polypropylene. It is stackable up to twelve chairs.
