HERMAN MODERN banquet chair for professional venues

A banquet chair built for daily service in restaurants, hotels and event spaces, the HERMAN MODERN combines a steel frame with a velvet-upholstered seat and backrest that stay comfortable through long sittings.

The chair supports guests by distributing weight evenly across a rigid steel frame. A 19 × 19 mm profile and 1.0 mm wall thickness give the frame its strength, while a reinforcing beam under the seat prevents flexing. Powder coating seals the steel against moisture and knocks, keeping the finish intact under frequent handling. Rubber-tipped legs protect floors from scratches and dampen the sound of chairs being moved.

The seat itself is made of Memory Foam over a 9 mm plywood base. Memory Foam moulds to the sitter's shape and then returns to its original form, so the seat does not sag or lose contour over time. The backrest uses elastic filling materials that yield slightly under pressure, reducing fatigue during extended use.

Upholstery is a velvet fabric weighing 210 g/m². Velvet resists pilling, retains its colour and wipes clean easily, making it practical for high-turnover venues. The fabric is soft to the touch yet durable enough for daily use in hospitality settings.

Chairs stack up to nineteen high for compact storage between events. Each chair measures 430 mm wide, 570 mm deep and 930 mm tall, and weighs 5.0 kg, allowing one person to move and arrange them without strain.

The HERMAN MODERN is offered in three colours: beige, roze and navy blue. A minimum order of ten chairs applies. The same construction and materials are used across all colour variants.
