Hocker FRANCESCO 7001 in Brown Technorattan

A hocker designed for outdoor catering spaces, the BHS FRANCESCO 7001 combines seating height with compact storage. Technorattan, a synthetic woven material, is engineered to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight, rain and humidity without fading, cracking or warping. The material's resilience comes from its polymer composition, which resists UV degradation and moisture absorption, maintaining both appearance and structural integrity across seasons. This makes the stool suitable for year-round use on terraces, balconies and outdoor bars where natural elements would degrade conventional wicker or timber.

The stool arrives fully assembled. The operator simply lifts it from the packaging and places it where seating is required. When service ends, the stools stack vertically, one on top of the other, up to six units high. This stacking capability reduces the footprint needed for storage, freeing floor space in cupboards or storerooms during off-peak hours or closed periods.

Construction is a technorattan weave over a concealed aluminium frame. The frame provides rigidity while keeping the overall weight low, allowing a single operator to move the stool easily between locations. The seat height of 75 cm positions diners at standard worktop or bar counter height, matching the ergonomics of indoor seating. Reinforced edges prevent the weave from fraying or loosening over time, ensuring the stool remains safe and comfortable even with frequent use.

Controls are absent; the stool is a static piece of furniture. Its brown colour is integral to the technorattan weave and does not require maintenance to retain its shade.

The dimensions of 360 mm width, 360 mm depth and 760 mm height define a compact square footprint that fits neatly under tables or counters when not in use. The 2.8 kg weight allows the stool to be carried by one person without strain, yet it remains stable on uneven outdoor surfaces due to its low centre of gravity.

Cleaning follows from the materials: a damp cloth removes surface dust and spills, while a mild detergent solution tackles more stubborn marks. The technorattan's non-porous surface prevents liquids from penetrating, so stains do not set. No disassembly is required for cleaning or storage.
