Infinity Chair for Catering Workstations

This chair offers seated support at a worktop while saving floor space. The seat is suspended from a single post that clamps beneath a stainless-steel worktop or table edge. When not needed, the chair swings out of the way, freeing the area for trolleys or foot traffic. The post adjusts in height, allowing staff to work comfortably at the same bench without awkward postures.

To set up, the clamp is secured to the worktop edge. The seat height is adjusted by pulling a release lever, moving the post up or down, then locking it in place. The user sits, positions the footrest if available, and begins work. Once finished, the chair is swung back under the worktop and removed by loosening the clamp.

The chair is built from aluminium tubing for the post and clamp, paired with a polypropylene seat. These materials reduce weight while resisting corrosion from kitchen moisture and cleaning agents. The clamp accommodates standard worktop thicknesses.

Height adjustment ranges from the minimum to maximum specified dimensions, suitable for most users. The footprint allows storage under most worktops without obstructing walkways. Weighing 1.92 kg, it can be carried easily between stations or hung on a wall hook.

Cleaning involves wiping the seat and post with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The clamp mechanism should be kept clear of debris for smooth operation. No lubrication is needed for the telescoping post or clamp screw.
