ISO WOOD Chair for Professional and Public Spaces

A chair built for steady, everyday use in cafés, canteens and waiting areas, the ISO WOOD model combines a powder-coated steel frame with a wood-composite seat and backrest. The steel frame carries the load while the polywood panels give the warmth and grain of timber without its sensitivity to moisture or sunlight.

The chair stands on four legs fitted with rubber tips. These tips absorb minor unevenness in the floor and prevent the chair from sliding or scratching hard surfaces. The frame is welded and powder-coated in a single colour, so it resists chips and corrosion even when moved daily.

The seat and backrest are made from seven layers of plywood, each 10 mm thick, bonded into a single panel. This construction resists warping and cracking better than solid wood, and the surface can be wiped clean without swelling or staining. The edges are rounded to avoid snagging clothing or skin.

Assembly is complete when the chair leaves the factory; the operator simply lifts it from the carton and places it where it is needed. No tools or adjustments are required. The chair is light enough for one person to carry, yet the frame geometry keeps it stable when occupied.

The overall dimensions—530 mm deep, 560 mm wide and 800 mm high—give a compact footprint that fits under most tables and counters. At 5 kg, the chair can be stacked or moved in batches without strain. The powder-coated finish and polywood panels need only a damp cloth for routine cleaning; no polish or protective sprays are necessary.
