MATTEO 2070 Technorattan Stacking Chair in Grey-White

A café or restaurant terrace chair must balance seating comfort, repeated handling and exposure to weather. The MATTEO 2070 achieves this with a woven technorattan seat that flexes slightly under load, distributing weight evenly and reducing pressure points. Beneath the seat, the technorattan is cross-woven into a continuous lattice that reinforces the structure without adding bulk. This woven layer also resists sagging and abrasion, so the chair retains its shape through daily use.

The operator simply lifts the chair by its frame and places it where needed. When tables are rearranged or the terrace is cleared, the chairs stack vertically, one on top of the other, up to twelve high. The lightweight aluminium frame keeps each chair easy to handle, while the corrosion-resistant alloy prevents rust and discolouration, even in damp or coastal locations.

Assembly is not required; the chair arrives ready to use. The grey-white technorattan finish blends with most colour schemes, indoors or out. The square footprint of 570 mm by 570 mm allows close spacing around tables, while the 880 mm height provides a standard dining seat level. At 3.94 kg, a single person can move the chair effortlessly, yet the frame remains rigid under normal loads.

Cleaning follows from the materials: a damp cloth removes dust and spills from the technorattan surface, and the aluminium frame can be wiped with mild detergent. The woven seat dries quickly, so the chair is soon ready for the next service.
