A round melamine table top provides a smooth, hygienic surface for food preparation, plating or serving in professional kitchens and front-of-house areas. The material resists scratches, stains and heat from hot pans, while its non-porous finish prevents bacterial growth and makes cleaning straightforward.

The top is a single solid disc of melamine-faced chipboard, cut to a precise diameter and edged with a matching 2 mm ABS strip. This edging seals the raw board, protects against chipping and gives a neat, finished appearance. The 28 mm thickness ensures the top remains stable on standard table bases without sagging or flexing under the weight of equipment and food.

To install, the top is lowered onto a compatible table base or frame and secured with screws or clamps through pre-drilled fixing points. Once in place, it creates a seamless work surface that can be used for chopping, garnishing, assembling dishes or displaying plated food. The round shape allows staff to work from any side and encourages smooth traffic flow around the station.

The 900 mm diameter sets the usable area: it determines how many plates, bowls or trays can be laid out at once and how much space is left for utensils and ingredients. The size is chosen to fit standard catering trolleys, under-counter refrigeration and wall-mounted shelves, ensuring the top integrates neatly into existing kitchen layouts.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent; no sealing, oiling or special treatment is required. The ABS edging can be cleaned in the same way, and its smooth finish prevents dirt from collecting in corners.
