Melamine Table Top 800 x 800 mm

A solid melamine table top forms a hard, non-porous work surface that resists scratches, stains and heat from hot pans. The melamine layer is bonded to a dense substrate, creating a rigid panel that does not warp under the weight of heavy equipment or repeated cleaning. The top is cut to size and sealed with a 2 mm ABS edging that matches the melamine colour. This edging protects the core from moisture and knocks, preventing the panel from swelling or chipping at the edges. It also gives a neat, finished look that blends with other catering furniture.

To use, the panel is placed directly on a supporting frame or cupboard unit. No additional sealing or treatment is needed; the melamine surface is ready for immediate food preparation. The 800 x 800 mm footprint provides a compact yet stable work area that fits standard modular kitchen layouts, allowing multiple tops to be joined for longer runs.

The 38 mm thickness adds strength without excessive weight, making the top easy to lift and position. It also provides enough depth to support heavy appliances such as mixers or slicers without sagging.
