NN49 Mobile Worktable with Shelf

A stainless steel worktable on lockable castors brings a stable work surface and under-shelf storage to any point in the kitchen where it is needed. The unit rolls on four wheels, two of which can be locked to hold the table in place during food preparation or plating.

The worktop provides a flat, hygienic surface for chopping, assembling dishes or holding small appliances. Below it, the shelf offers space for ingredients, utensils or containers that must stay close at hand but off the work surface itself. Because the table is mobile, it can be moved aside when not in use, freeing floor space for other tasks or for cleaning.

The operator loads the worktop with the items to be worked on, locks the wheels, and uses the table as a fixed station. When the task is finished, the wheels are unlocked and the table is rolled to storage or to another part of the kitchen. The shelf is loaded with whatever needs to travel with the table: bowls, trays, or small appliances.

Construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, ease of cleaning and durability in a busy kitchen. The worktop and shelf are flat sheets, and the frame is tubular. The four castors are fitted with brakes on two of them.

The dimensions of 1720 mm width, 800 mm depth and 900 mm height give a work surface large enough for two people to work side by side, while the depth allows for a full gastronorm tray to be placed on the shelf below without overhang. The height matches standard worktop levels in professional kitchens, so the table can be used alongside fixed counters without awkward bending or reaching.

Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The castors are checked periodically to ensure they roll freely and the brakes hold securely. The flat worktop and shelf have no crevices, so food debris and spills are easily removed.
