The BHS Outdoor HPL Compact Table Top is made from high-pressure laminate that shrugs off ultraviolet light, resists cigarette burns and repels stains without absorbing them. This keeps the surface looking new and cuts daily cleaning to a wipe with a damp cloth.

The material is a dense, non-porous sheet pressed under heat and pressure. It does not warp, swell or crack when exposed to rain or direct sunlight, so the table top stays flat and stable year-round. Because it is impervious to moisture, it never needs sealing or oiling, and food or drink left on it can be lifted away without leaving a mark.

Setting up is a matter of placing the top on a base or frame of the same footprint. No tools or fixings are required; the weight of the board and the items on it keep it in place. The 690 mm by 500 mm size gives enough room for two large platters or a full place setting with elbow room, while still fitting through standard doorways for seasonal storage.

The surface is smooth and cool to the touch, so hot pans or plates can be set down without scorching it. Spills bead up rather than soak in, which means less scrubbing and no lingering odours.
