Outdoor HPL Compact Table Top for Terraces, 1200x890 mm

Outdoor work surfaces must endure sunlight, spills and heat without warping or staining. This BHS table top uses high-pressure laminate (HPL) pressed into a dense, non-porous panel. The material resists UV rays that fade and weaken ordinary surfaces, so the colour stays even after long exposure to sunlight. It also withstands cigarette burns and hot pans without scorching, and liquids bead up instead of soaking in, making spills easy to wipe away.

The panel is cut to a 1200 mm by 890 mm rectangle, forming a stable worktop for outdoor counters, buffets or service stations on open terraces. No additional frame is needed; the edges are sealed to prevent water ingress, and the entire surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Because the material is compact and homogeneous, it does not delaminate or swell when wet. This allows the table top to be installed directly on supports without a plywood sub-base, reducing weight and simplifying assembly. The resistance to damage means the surface remains smooth and hygienic even after repeated use, making it suitable for food service in all weathers.

Cleaning is straightforward: spills are wiped off immediately, and routine maintenance involves only a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. The UV resistance prevents yellowing, so the appearance stays consistent over time. The table top is supplied as a single panel, ready to be fixed to compatible outdoor catering counters or freestanding bases.
