A refrigerated showcase keeps prepared food at serving temperature without drying or spoilage. It circulates chilled air behind a glass front, so customers see the dishes while the unit maintains a steady, controlled climate. The air curtain separates the warm kitchen from the cooled interior, reducing energy use and keeping the food safe for display.
The operator loads up to four GN 1/1 gastronorm trays through the top opening. A thermostat sets the temperature between +30 °C and +80 °C, allowing the showcase to hold hot items such as soups, sauces or roasted meats as well as chilled desserts or salads. Once the trays are in place and the door closed, the refrigeration unit starts automatically, cycling the air to keep every tray at the same temperature. The glass front lets customers view the food without opening the cabinet, which prevents temperature swings and keeps the dishes fresh.
The cabinet is built from stainless steel, with an internal water trough that collects condensation. A single-phase 230 V supply powers the refrigeration system, compressor and interior lighting. The 1470 mm width fits standard worktop runs, while the 78 kg weight allows two staff to move the unit on castors when needed.
Controls consist of a thermostat dial and an on/off switch. The thermostat sets the target temperature within the +30 °C to +80 °C range, and the switch starts or stops the refrigeration cycle. The water trough must be emptied regularly to prevent overflow, and the glass front and stainless steel surfaces are wiped down daily to maintain hygiene and visibility.
The showcase is supplied in a single configuration for 4 GN 1/1 trays, with no additional variants or accessories listed. It is categorised under refrigerated display equipment for professional catering.
