This professional sunbed provides controlled ultraviolet exposure using low-pressure fluorescent tubes positioned above and below the user. The tubes emit a spectrum designed to stimulate melanin production, achieving an even tan without sunlight. The dual-source arrangement covers both sides of the body at once, shortening session time while ensuring uniform results across the skin's surface.

The unit is placed on a level floor, and the canopy height adjusted between 260 mm and 450 mm to match the client. Once connected to power, the tubes illuminate quickly and stay lit for the set duration. A timer automatically ends the session, switching off the tubes and sounding an alert. After the client leaves, the operator cleans the acrylic canopy and base with a mild disinfectant, readying the bed for the next use.

The frame is made from powder-coated aluminium, offering strength with a total weight of 9.55 kg for straightforward movement between rooms. Its compact dimensions of 1880 mm by 720 mm allow it to pass through standard doorways and fit neatly on the floor, preserving space for client movement and other studio equipment.

Maintenance involves wiping the acrylic canopy and base after each session to remove oils and disinfect, while the aluminium frame needs only occasional dusting to keep its appearance.
