Table Base A-15-720-800-76 for Professional Worktops

A table base supports a worktop at a fixed height, leaving the floor beneath clear for staff to stand without obstruction. The column transfers the weight of the top and whatever is placed on it down to the base, which spreads the load across the floor. A wide base prevents tipping when the worktop is unevenly loaded, while a slim column keeps the footprint small so the unit fits into tight kitchen layouts.

The base arrives in parts for self-assembly. The operator fits the column into the base, attaches the black painted mounting plate to the top of the column, and secures the whole with the supplied screws. Once assembled, the worktop is placed on the mounting plate and fixed with separate screws that are not included in the set. The plate's 250 mm square surface provides a stable platform for round, square or rectangular tops up to 800 mm in diameter.

The base and column are made of chrome-plated steel for corrosion resistance in humid kitchen environments. The mounting plate is black painted steel, 3 mm thick, to support heavy loads without bending. The lower base is available in two steel thicknesses, allowing the operator to choose the balance between weight and rigidity. The assembled unit stands 730 mm high, a standard worktop height that matches most catering sinks, hobs and preparation surfaces.

The 550 mm diameter base keeps the footprint compact while still providing enough stability for worktops up to 900 mm in diameter. The 76 mm diameter column is slim enough to leave legroom but strong enough to carry the load. The total weight of 6.5 kg makes the base light enough to move by hand when the kitchen layout changes, yet heavy enough to stay in place during daily use.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the chrome-plated and painted surfaces with a damp cloth. The self-assembly design allows the operator to disassemble the base for thorough cleaning or for replacing parts if damaged.

Variants include different heights, colours from the RAL palette, a 4 kg cast iron weight for extra stability, and a round aluminium adapter for mounting glass worktops.
