Table Base B-06/LIGHT for Professional Worktops

A sturdy table base built to carry professional catering worktops up to 900 mm in diameter. The BHS B-06/LIGHT provides a stable, level platform for prep surfaces, hobs or under-counter refrigeration without permanent floor fixing. The base stands on four cast-iron feet that spread the load evenly across the floor. Each foot is shaped to resist sideways movement, so the unit stays put even when the worktop is fully loaded. The feet are bolted to a central column, allowing the height to be set precisely during assembly. Once tightened, the column locks the feet in place, creating a rigid frame that will not wobble or twist under daily use. Assembly is done on-site: the operator unpacks the separate parts, aligns the feet with the column, and secures them with the supplied bolts. The worktop is then placed on top and fixed with screws, which are not included in the set. The 430 mm square footprint leaves enough clearance for floor cleaning while keeping the base compact enough for tight kitchen layouts. The cast-iron construction is painted black to resist kitchen moisture and grease. The paint finish can be matched to other equipment by choosing an alternative RAL colour at the time of order. At 16 kg, the base is light enough to be moved by two people but heavy enough to stay in place without anchoring. Controls and adjustments are limited to the assembly bolts, which set the final height and squareness. Once assembled, the base requires no further adjustment; it simply supports the worktop at a fixed 730 mm height, a standard work surface level in professional kitchens. The 430 mm width and depth mean the base fits neatly under most under-counter appliances and leaves room for leg clearance. The 16 kg weight indicates a solid cast-iron build that will not shift under load, while the 730 mm height places the worktop at a comfortable working level for standing staff. Cleaning is straightforward: the painted cast-iron surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth and kitchen detergent. The open design of the base allows access to the floor underneath for regular cleaning. The painted cast-iron base slides under counters without tools, letting you wipe down the entire underside in one pass while the top remains in place. An alternative colour from the RAL palette is available as an optional extra at the time of purchase.
