Table Base B-L4-101 for Professional Worktops

A sturdy table base holds professional worktops at a fixed working height without relying on walls or cupboards. The B-L4-101 uses a central column to transfer the load from the tabletop straight down to a wide cast-iron foot, preventing tipping even when heavy containers are placed near the edge. Four adjustable legs at the corners of the foot level the unit on uneven floors, keeping the work surface perfectly horizontal for safe food preparation and stable appliance placement.

The operator unpacks the base, column, top bracket, four legs and mounting screws. The column slots into the foot and is secured with screws; the top bracket is fixed to the column in the same way. Each leg threads into a corner of the foot and is turned until the base stands level. The worktop is then laid on the bracket and fastened with separate screws that are not supplied with the base.

The base is made of black painted cast iron, chosen for its weight and stability. The column and top bracket are black painted steel, combining strength with a lighter weight than solid cast iron would add. The top bracket measures 250 by 250 millimetres and is 3.0 millimetres thick, providing a secure platform for the worktop without adding unnecessary bulk.

The 1100 millimetre height sets the work surface at a standard ergonomic level for standing tasks in professional kitchens. The 940 millimetre pipe length ensures the column reaches from the foot to the bracket without sagging. The 76 millimetre outer diameter and 74 millimetre inner diameter of the column allow a snug fit for the bracket while keeping the structure lightweight. The 12.5 kilogram weight of the base makes it manageable for two people to move and assemble, yet heavy enough to resist accidental shifts during use.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the painted surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust and spills. The cast iron and steel construction prevents rust as long as the paint remains intact. The four adjustable legs should be checked periodically to ensure they remain tight and level.
