Table Base E-19-101 for Professional Worktops

A sturdy base for professional catering worktops, the BHS E-19-101 supports tabletops up to 700 mm in diameter. The unit stands on a central column that transfers the load directly to the floor, preventing sag or wobble under heavy kitchen equipment. Adjustable feet beneath the base compensate for uneven floors, keeping the worktop level and stable during food preparation and service.

The base arrives in parts for self-assembly: a circular stainless-steel foot, a vertical column, a square mounting plate and all necessary fixings. Once assembled, the column rises to a standard worktop height, positioning the surface at a comfortable working level for chefs. The mounting plate, painted black, provides a secure platform for the tabletop, while the brushed stainless-steel column resists corrosion and staining in a busy kitchen environment.

Assembly begins with the circular base, which is fitted with five adjustable feet. The column is then attached to the base, followed by the mounting plate at the top. The feet are adjusted to level the unit before the worktop is placed on the plate and secured. No screws for fixing the top are included, allowing the operator to choose the appropriate fixings for the material of the worktop.

The base is constructed from AISI 201 stainless steel for the column and foot, with a black-painted steel mounting plate. The plate measures 250 mm square and is 3 mm thick, providing a solid foundation for the worktop. The overall height of the assembled base is 1100 mm, with a base diameter of 450 mm and legs of 76 mm diameter.

At 13 kg, the base is light enough to be moved by one person but heavy enough to remain stable under load.

For kitchens using glass tabletops, a round aluminium adapter is available as an optional extra, enabling secure mounting without drilling the glass. The base can also be ordered in different heights to suit specific kitchen requirements.
