Table Base E-27 for Stainless Steel Worktops

A table base built to carry stainless steel worktops in busy catering kitchens. The E-27 supports tops up to 600 mm deep and 800 mm wide, giving a stable platform for food preparation, plating or holding equipment.

The base stands on four adjustable feet that level the unit on uneven floors. Each foot threads into a brushed stainless steel leg, allowing the operator to raise or lower the corner until the worktop is perfectly horizontal. This adjustment prevents liquids from pooling and keeps heavy appliances from rocking during use.

Assembly begins with the square black-painted steel mounting plate. The operator positions the plate on the underside of the worktop, marks the fixing points, and drills pilot holes. The stainless steel column then bolts to the plate, and the four legs screw into the base ring. Once the legs are tightened, the adjustable feet are set to the correct height and locked. The finished base holds the worktop clear of the floor, making it easier to clean underneath and reducing the risk of corrosion from standing water.

The base and column are made from AISI 201 stainless steel, brushed to hide scratches and fingerprints. The mounting plate is 290 mm square and 3 mm thick, giving a solid fixing point for the worktop. All parts, including mounting screws and feet, are supplied in the set; only the screws that secure the worktop itself must be sourced separately.

The footprint of the base ranges from 400 mm to 600 mm in diameter, allowing it to fit beneath worktops of different shapes. The overall height is 730 mm, a standard worktop height in professional kitchens. The base weighs 17.5 kg, making it light enough for one person to move into position before the worktop is fitted.

Cleaning is straightforward: the brushed stainless steel surface wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the adjustable feet can be removed for deeper cleaning if needed. The black-painted mounting plate is protected by the worktop, so it requires no special maintenance beyond occasional inspection of the fixing screws.

An optional taller version is available for kitchens where a higher work surface is preferred.
