A table base built to carry a square worktop up to 600 mm across in a professional kitchen. The unit stands on four adjustable feet that level the surface on uneven floors, keeping the worktop stable while staff chop, plate or assemble orders.
The base is supplied as separate parts for self-assembly: a central column, a square mounting plate, the four feet and the screws that hold them together. Once assembled, the column supports the mounting plate 1100 mm above the floor, creating a standard worktop height for standing tasks. The plate itself is 250 mm square and 3 mm thick, giving a solid platform for the tabletop.
Assembly starts with the four feet screwed into the base ring. The column is then bolted to the ring, and the mounting plate is fixed to the top of the column. Adjustable feet are turned until the base stands level, and the tabletop is placed on the plate. The set does not include screws for securing the tabletop, so these must be chosen to match the thickness of the worktop material.
The base and column are made of brushed AISI 201 stainless steel, which resists corrosion from kitchen moisture and cleaning chemicals. The mounting plate is black painted steel, providing a contrasting surface that helps staff see the edges of the worktop when placing items.
The base footprint is 400 mm in diameter, leaving space for staff to stand close to the worktop without their feet hitting the legs. Each leg is 60 mm in diameter, giving enough strength to support the weight of the worktop and the items placed on it.
The total weight of 13.5 kg allows one person to move the base into position before assembly. Once assembled, the adjustable feet can be fine-tuned to eliminate any wobble, ensuring the worktop remains steady during use.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive pads that could scratch the brushed finish. The painted mounting plate can be cleaned the same way, taking care not to chip the paint around the edges.
An optional variant with a different height is available for kitchens that need a non-standard worktop level.
