A solid melamine worktop provides a durable, hygienic surface for food preparation, plating and assembly in professional kitchens. The 19 mm thick melamine board resists scratches, stains and moisture better than untreated wood or laminate, while its smooth finish allows quick cleaning between tasks.
The table stands on adjustable feet that level the worktop on uneven floors, keeping ingredients and utensils stable. A single shelf below the work surface offers organised storage for bowls, trays or small appliances within arm's reach, reducing steps during service.
To use the table, position it where the workflow requires: near the hob for mise en place, beside the pass for plating, or in the prep area for chopping and mixing. Load the shelf with the items needed for the shift, adjust the feet until the worktop is level, and begin work directly on the surface. When the shift ends, wipe the melamine with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove food debris and grease.
The worktop is constructed from 19 mm melamine-faced particleboard, giving a balance of weight and rigidity without excessive bulk. The edges are sealed to prevent water ingress, and the underside of the shelf is finished to match, protecting against spills and condensation.
Four sizes are available: 120 × 80 cm, 150 × 80 cm, 180 × 90 cm and 215 × 100 cm, each with a fixed height of 740 mm. The footprint determines the space the table occupies on the kitchen floor, while the height ensures compatibility with standard worktop appliances and under-counter refrigeration units.
Cleaning is limited to the surfaces the entry names: wipe the melamine worktop and shelf with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use, avoiding abrasive pads that could scratch the finish.
