A sturdy work surface built for the demands of a professional kitchen, the BHS Table DIVA provides a hygienic, non-porous platform that resists stains, scratches and moisture. Unlike wooden or laminated tops, polypropylene does not absorb liquids, so spills stay on the surface where they can be wiped away without leaving odours or bacteria traps. The material also shrugs off impacts from pots, pans and utensils, maintaining a smooth finish over years of daily use.

The table stands on four separate legs that bolt directly to the underside of the top. Because the legs arrive disassembled, the unit can be carried through narrow corridors, service lifts and tight doorways that would block a fully assembled table. Once on site, the legs are attached with simple fixings, creating a stable, freestanding worktop that requires no wall brackets or additional bracing. The 720 mm height matches standard kitchen counters, allowing seamless integration with existing equipment and ergonomic workflow for staff.

Assembly is straightforward: the operator unpacks the top and legs, aligns each leg with its pre-drilled mounting point, inserts the bolts and tightens them with a spanner. No specialised tools or adhesives are needed, and the entire process can be completed in minutes. Once assembled, the table supports food preparation, plating, holding hot trays or cooling baked goods without flexing or wobbling.

The 800 × 800 mm footprint provides ample space for two large gastronorm trays side by side, a bain-marie, or a set of scales and prep containers. At 7.8 kg, the table is light enough for one person to move when the workspace needs reconfiguring, yet heavy enough to remain steady under load. The reinforced polypropylene construction ensures the top will not warp, crack or discolour under the heat of hot pans or the chill of refrigerated ingredients.

Cleaning is minimal: the smooth surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth and standard kitchen sanitiser. There are no seams, joints or crevices where food debris can collect, so daily upkeep is quick and thorough. For deeper cleaning, the table can be lifted onto a sink or trolley and washed with a hose or pressure washer without risk of water ingress or corrosion.
