Tiffany Steel Stacking Chair for Events

A stacking chair built for the demands of banquet halls, wedding venues and conference centres, where seating must be moved, set up and stored repeatedly without damage or wear.

The chair supports guests with a rigid seat and backrest that do not flex under load. A continuous steel frame runs beneath the seat and up the back legs, distributing weight evenly and preventing the chair from twisting or bending when guests shift position. This frame also carries the stacking lugs that align each chair with the one below, so a column of chairs stands steady and does not topple when lifted or moved.

To use, the operator lifts the chair by its backrest or seat edge, tilts it slightly forward and lowers it onto the next chair in the stack. The lugs guide the legs into position and the chairs lock together without sliding. When the stack reaches twelve chairs, the manufacturer's limit, the column is stable enough to be wheeled on a trolley or carried by two people. After the event, the chairs are unstacked in reverse order and arranged around tables or in rows.

The seat and backrest are formed from polypropylene, a material that resists scratches, stains and fading from sunlight or cleaning chemicals. The surface remains smooth and does not collect dust or spills, so the chair looks clean even after repeated use. The white colour is standard; other colours are available by special request.

The chair measures 400 mm from front to back, 460 mm across the seat and 880 mm in height. These dimensions allow the chair to fit under standard banquet tables and to be stored in tight spaces when stacked. The weight of each chair is light enough for one person to carry, yet the construction is strong enough to withstand frequent movement and outdoor conditions without rusting or warping.

Cleaning is straightforward: the polypropylene surface can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and the steel frame can be cleaned with the same solution. No disassembly is required, and the chair dries quickly, ready for the next event.
