VEGAS 201 Stackable Plastic Chair

A chair built for frequent movement and compact storage, the VEGAS 201 relies on polypropylene's balance of strength and lightness. The material forms a continuous seat and backrest that distributes weight evenly, preventing localised stress that can crack or deform cheaper plastics. Its closed-cell structure also resists water absorption, so the chair does not swell or weaken when used on damp terraces or near kitchen sinks.

To use the chair, simply lift it from the stack and place it where needed. The wide footprint and gently curved legs give stability without adding bulk, while the smooth contours make it easy to wipe down between services. When seating is no longer required, the chairs nest vertically, five high, reducing the floor space they occupy to a single footprint.

The VEGAS 201 is moulded in one piece from polypropylene, giving it a seamless surface that sheds dirt and liquids. The material is colour-fast, so the grey or white finish does not fade under indoor lighting or outdoor sunlight. At 4.5 kg, the chair can be carried by one person, yet the plastic is thick enough to resist impacts from trolleys or passing foot traffic.

Controls are absent; the chair is ready to use straight from delivery. Its dimensions—530 mm deep, 580 mm wide and 820 mm high—fit standard dining tables and bar counters, while the 4.5 kg weight allows staff to move multiple chairs at once without strain. The moisture-resistant construction means the chair can be left outside overnight without risk of warping or mildew.

Cleaning follows from the seamless plastic construction: a damp cloth removes food spills and dust, and a mild detergent tackles grease without damaging the surface. Because the chair is non-porous, it does not trap odours or bacteria, making it suitable for environments where hygiene is critical.

Two variants are available: the VEGAS 201 in grey, and the VEGAS 502 in white. Both share the same dimensions, weight and stackability.
