The operator arranges trays or platters on the stainless steel shelves, then sets the desired temperature between +6 and +12 °C using the control panel. Once powered on, the refrigeration system begins cooling the interior, and the internal lighting illuminates the display to highlight the products. Customers can view and select items through the clear plexiglass top without opening the unit, which helps maintain the set temperature and reduces energy use.

The cabinet is built from galvanised steel for structural strength, while the interior exposition surfaces are stainless steel for hygiene and durability. A plexiglass top provides visibility and protection. The refrigerant used is R290, a hydrocarbon that offers efficient cooling with a lower environmental impact compared to older refrigerants.

The temperature range of +6 to +12 °C allows the showcase to hold items that require gentle chilling but must not freeze, such as cream-filled pastries, mousses and decorated cakes. The 150 kg weight indicates the unit is designed to be moved with a pallet truck or similar equipment, not carried by hand. The footprint of 1345 mm wide by 810 mm deep fits standard worktop depths and allows placement along a wall or counter, while the 1000 mm height plus a 20 mm adjustment provides a comfortable viewing level for customers.

Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless steel shelves and interior surfaces with a mild detergent to remove fingerprints and spills. The plexiglass top should be cleaned with a soft cloth to avoid scratches. The exterior galvanised steel can be wiped with a damp cloth to maintain appearance. Regular checks of the refrigeration system and lighting ensure consistent performance.
